Hi
This is our first experience with a Maltese.  According to the breeder, he is about 16 weeks old. The breeder said they didn't handle the pups much so they could bond with their new owners. Since bringing him home, he has done absolutely nothing but sleep. He eats a little but usually when he's left alone. When you put him on the floor, he immediately goes to a corner or under furniture. Is this typical behavior or does this sound like a poorly socialized puppy?  He doesn't want to play and we can't seem to get him interested in anything. We've had him for about a week now and there's maybe a little change but not much. Any comments or help would be appreciated.
