I just got my Maltese in Sept. 04 and started her on the Pupply/Adult dog food by a company called Flint River Ranch in California.  Actual I've had my cat on it for a year and he has done so well so I started Missy on the Pupply/Adult.  It a all natural high premium dog food NO by-products or filler of any kind and no artifical color or additives and its over baked not steamed - no corn because dogs cannot digest corn they store it as fat.
