I have an 19 month old girl that does the same thing and I would really like to know the answer to that question, too :<  I have been told it is alergys, seperation anxiety, and now they say it must just be a discipline problem.  I never have figured it out.  I have bought the deterant sprays and given her benadryl.  Nothing seems to help.  If you find out what it is or something that will help it please let me know.
